Urban Decay Perversion Mascara Review

 Hello Again!
I am back with a review of the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara (€22 on Debenhams). I first got this product when I bought the Urban Decay Naked On The Run palette. I instantly fell in love with the thickness and length it gave my eyelashes. When I ran out of the 6mls, 6 months after purchasing it, I decided it was time to repurchase and get the full size this time. When it arrived I fell in love with the packaging and of course the product itself. This mascara is so smooth with no clumps and you can apply as many coats as you wish without it getting clumpy.
The picture above really does not give the size of the product justice. It is a very thick tube and was definitely much bigger than I thought it was going to be. The full size (12mls) is €22 on Debenhams and the travel size is €10. In my personal opinion the travel size is definitely worth picking up as I thought months was a decent amount of time for a mascara of that size to last.
As you can see below the Mascara not only lengthens but it also thickens the eyelashes leaving a clump free finish. 1 coat should be enough for a natural look but if you like your eyelashes slightly thicker 2 coats would definitely be perfect for you.
This is a mascara I would definitely repurchase over and over again. All of the Urban Decay product I own haven't disappointed me as of yet and I am continually growing to love the brand more and more after a purchase!
Have you tried any UD products? Got any favourites?
Until Monday

Updated: Andrea Russett Makeup Tutorial

I am quite amazed at how many views my Andrea Russett Tutorial has racked up since it was put up. I know myself that copying Andrea's look is very difficult as she has never done a tutorial on YouTube. Since I put up my post Andrea has went through a bit of a makeup change and I, myself have improved at her eyeshadow look and I am here to do an updated version of Andrea's makeup look.
Lets Get Started!

Step 1: I begin with filling in my eyebrows using the Collection Work The Colour Eyebrow Kit and an Angled Brush from H&M. I then continue and apply my Concealer and Foundation. The Foundation and Concealer I used to do this look is the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Cool Medium and the Rimmel London Lasting Finish Foundation in Soft Beige. I then set my foundation with the Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder in Transparent. Finally I contour my cheekbones with the Benefit Hoola Bronzer.

Step 2: If you want your eyeshadow to last all day, prime your eyes! I use the Maybelline Baby Skin Primer as used in my previous tutorial as I find it works just as good as an eye primer.

Step 3: Using a blending brush I apply black eyeshadow. Start from the corner of your eye and work in halfway. The pictures above are done step by step. I am using Blackout from the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. Then taking the brush that comes with the Naked palette, I use the fluffy side of the brush to blend out any harsh lines.
Remember: There is no such thing as too much blending.
Keep adding eyeshadow until you reach your desired shade but keep blending!!

Step 5: When you are happy with the shade of the eyeshadow add a thin line of black eyeliner to the lash line, the tight line and halfway into the waterline.

Step 6: As you can see from the above picture Andrea has very long eyelashes. I'm not sure if she wears false eyelashes but with the right products you can achieve her eyelashes without the hassle of falsies.
I use the Benefit They're Real Mascara on my top lashes and the Urban Decay Perversion mascara on my bottom lashes. I know for a lot of people that's way too much money for Mascara but fear not because the Rimmel London Accelerator Endless Mascara does the same job for much cheaper.
I don't curl my eyelashes because I hate the feeling of it but when I apply my mascara I have a clean mascara brush beside me to separate any eyelashes that may stick together.

JE SUIS FINI!
Here is the finished look:
I am wearing Hairtrade I&K Hair Extensions in these pictures also!

Until Monday
