Updated: Andrea Russett Makeup Tutorial

I am quite amazed at how many views my Andrea Russett Tutorial has racked up since it was put up. I know myself that copying Andrea's look is very difficult as she has never done a tutorial on YouTube. Since I put up my post Andrea has went through a bit of a makeup change and I, myself have improved at her eyeshadow look and I am here to do an updated version of Andrea's makeup look.
Lets Get Started!

Step 1: I begin with filling in my eyebrows using the Collection Work The Colour Eyebrow Kit and an Angled Brush from H&M. I then continue and apply my Concealer and Foundation. The Foundation and Concealer I used to do this look is the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Cool Medium and the Rimmel London Lasting Finish Foundation in Soft Beige. I then set my foundation with the Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder in Transparent. Finally I contour my cheekbones with the Benefit Hoola Bronzer.

Step 2: If you want your eyeshadow to last all day, prime your eyes! I use the Maybelline Baby Skin Primer as used in my previous tutorial as I find it works just as good as an eye primer.

Step 3: Using a blending brush I apply black eyeshadow. Start from the corner of your eye and work in halfway. The pictures above are done step by step. I am using Blackout from the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. Then taking the brush that comes with the Naked palette, I use the fluffy side of the brush to blend out any harsh lines.
Remember: There is no such thing as too much blending.
Keep adding eyeshadow until you reach your desired shade but keep blending!!

Step 5: When you are happy with the shade of the eyeshadow add a thin line of black eyeliner to the lash line, the tight line and halfway into the waterline.

Step 6: As you can see from the above picture Andrea has very long eyelashes. I'm not sure if she wears false eyelashes but with the right products you can achieve her eyelashes without the hassle of falsies.
I use the Benefit They're Real Mascara on my top lashes and the Urban Decay Perversion mascara on my bottom lashes. I know for a lot of people that's way too much money for Mascara but fear not because the Rimmel London Accelerator Endless Mascara does the same job for much cheaper.
I don't curl my eyelashes because I hate the feeling of it but when I apply my mascara I have a clean mascara brush beside me to separate any eyelashes that may stick together.

JE SUIS FINI!
Here is the finished look:
I am wearing Hairtrade I&K Hair Extensions in these pictures also!

Until Monday

Fab Friday: Love Lippies

Hello Everyone!
This week I have found it extremely difficult to keep up with posts and social media because it has been project week in school, meaning I had a lot of work to do. So I do apologise for Mondays short post.
So today I have decided to do a lipstick post (I'll try make it a monthly thing.)
Basically, I pick a brand of Lipstick, try it out and outline my favourite and least favourite things about it.

L-R: 110, 107, 101.
Shade 110:
Not going to lie, even though this is a matted shade I honestly don't feel it is when I apply it. This shade is a pink shade with an orange tint, which I love. I only got this a month ago but because I wear a lot of dark clothing, I felt the colour really brought life to my outfits. In my opinion this shade can be used all year around, which is an up side.

Shade 101:
This colour is more of a 'your lips but better' kind of shade. Its not very vibrant, so it's excellent for those trip to the shops or everyday school make-up look. I do like this shade but it does look matted on your lips, which is it's down fall. I find when I apply this particular shade it makes my lips look chapped. I haven't found this with the other matte shades but honestly if my lips didn't look chapped with this shade I would wear it everywhere!

Shade 107:
Oh yes, the famous 107! I got this shade because I had seen the likes of +Zoella rave about it constantly and I always seen her wearing it in vlogs and even on her pictures on Instagram. So I decided to check it out. Honestly, the shade isn't what I would typically go for, but I will wear it now and again when I have a maroon shirt or jumper on. Honestly this shade it more a winter shade because its dark, I can't see me wearing it during the summer. So I'm afraid this shade will probably be at the bottom of my lipstick box until October (sob).

Also Rimmels other downfall with these lipsticks is the 'long lasting, up to 8 hours' quote. In my opinion if you didn't eat or drink for the 8 hours it would probably last but if you're going out for a meal you will need to top it up a lot.
Do you find it doesn't last as long?

Thank you for reading :)
Toodles,
Sarah x
