Urban Decay Perversion Mascara Review

 Hello Again!
I am back with a review of the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara (€22 on Debenhams). I first got this product when I bought the Urban Decay Naked On The Run palette. I instantly fell in love with the thickness and length it gave my eyelashes. When I ran out of the 6mls, 6 months after purchasing it, I decided it was time to repurchase and get the full size this time. When it arrived I fell in love with the packaging and of course the product itself. This mascara is so smooth with no clumps and you can apply as many coats as you wish without it getting clumpy.
The picture above really does not give the size of the product justice. It is a very thick tube and was definitely much bigger than I thought it was going to be. The full size (12mls) is €22 on Debenhams and the travel size is €10. In my personal opinion the travel size is definitely worth picking up as I thought months was a decent amount of time for a mascara of that size to last.
As you can see below the Mascara not only lengthens but it also thickens the eyelashes leaving a clump free finish. 1 coat should be enough for a natural look but if you like your eyelashes slightly thicker 2 coats would definitely be perfect for you.
This is a mascara I would definitely repurchase over and over again. All of the Urban Decay product I own haven't disappointed me as of yet and I am continually growing to love the brand more and more after a purchase!
Have you tried any UD products? Got any favourites?
Until Monday

Review: 5SOS Album

I know I am late for this weeks post but I want to do this and not leave it like I normally do.
So I have decided that I would finally review the 5 Seconds Of Summer Album and give you guys my thoughts and my very honest, critical opinion. This is a review on the UK/Irish album. No deluxe version.
So lets GO!

She Looks So Perfect.
So this was the first track to be taken off of the album and released as a 5SOS single. Although the boys have had singles from when the recorded by themselves before this was the one that was going to get their name known across the world. In my opinion it was the best choice! She Looks So Perfect shows off the boys vocal talent, Michaels and Lukes guitar skills, Calums bass and Ashtons drumming. It also shows off their punk side, like come on, they're singing about underwear!
Writers: Ashton Irwin, Michael Clifford, Jake Sinclair.

Don't Stop
Don't stop is the second track and the second single off the album. This song has had a critical reception with some people saying the beginning sounds like a Blink 182 song, not my opinion though. The song is catchy and when it came out it was stuck in my head on the way to school. Again, this song is Pop/Punk or Pop/Rock, which is what these boys is about.
Writers: Calum Hood, Luke Hemmings, Steve Robson, busbee.

Good Girls
This song is definitely a lot slower than the previous two songs but its not a ballad. However this song is much more Punk than the other two, which is why I like it. I think Michael taking the lead in the first verse just makes the song more punk. This song gives a different side to the boys as I feel its more Punk than Pop.
Writers:  Ashton Irwin, Michael Clifford, Rick Parkhouse, George Tizzard, Roy Stride, Josh Wilkinson

Kiss Me
This song was wrote with Alex Gaskarth who is a member of the Punk/Rock band All Time Low. This song is probably one of my favourite songs off of the album because it just reminds me of some of the old All Time Low songs with 5SOS. Can you get any better?
Writers: Calum Hood, Luke Hemmings, John Feldmann, Alex Gaskarth.

*No track by track for 18.
18
Eighteen is basically a track for the girl thats a little bit older than them which they can't get. Every time I listen to this song it brings me back to the One Direction concert and seeing 5SOS live. I like the rhythm and tone of this song and its just so Punk and I love it.
Writers: Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Richard Stannard, Seton Daunt, Ash Howes, Roy Stride

Everything I Didn't Say
The first ballad on the album. This song definitely has a lot of meaning to it, as the boys explain above. Although I am in love with the lyrics of this song, I wouldn't consider it my favourite song off of the album but it definitely shows a softer, lovable side to the boys.
Writers: Ashton Irwin ,Calum Hood, John Feldmann, Nicholas "RAS" Furlong

*No track by track for Beside You
Beside You
This was one of the first songs I found of the 5SOS boys over 2 years ago. I've always listened to it and I still do. I love this because it was on of the songs 5SOS released themselves on their Unplugged EP and it just makes me realise how far they have really come.
Writers: Calum Hood, Luke Hemmings, Christian Lo Russo, Joel Chapman

End Up Here
And were back into the fast, up beat, punk songs! I love having this song up full blast in the car or in my room because its perfect. Again, they wrote this song with Alex Gaskarth and I love this song so much because its just so easy to rock out to.
Writers:  Ashton Irwin, Michael Clifford, John Feldmann, Alex Gaskarth

Long Way Home
I can rave about my all time favourite song of the whole album. I do enjoy listening to every song but this song is beyond perfect. The lyrics, the voices, the music, the whole song is just perfection. Again, wrote with Alex and John Feldmann.
My favourite part is the lyrics:
"Hitting every red light
Kissing at the stop signs darling
Green Day's on the radio
And everything is alright
Now we're turning up the headlights darling
We're just taking it slow"
I just love Calums voice during this part and its just perfect!
I think I said perfect way too much but it is!
Writers: Ashton Irwin, Michael Clifford, John Feldmann, Alex Gaskarth

Heartbreak Girl
Again this is another oldie from 5SOS that came out back in February 2013. Not much to say about this song apart from the fact that its a 5SOS original, I love it and its the song that I sing in the shower all the time!
Writers: Calum Hood, Luke Hemmings, Steve Robson, Lindy Robbins

English Love Affair
I love this song because again, Michaels voice makes the song so punk. This song is so catchy and punk/rock.
Ashton Irwin, Michael Clifford, Rick Parkhouse, George Tizzard, Roy Stride, Josh Wilkinson

For the whole album I'd give it and 8/10 because I don't feel its as Punk as the boys can be but I did enjoy listening to it and I am still listening to it.
Until Wednesday

Fab Fridays: Book Worm!

Hello Everyone!
I've turned into a bit of a book worm recently and I'm pretty impressed with myself. I guess I have the Mortal Instrument books to thank for that. Since I got these books I can't put them down! So I thought I would share my love for these books with you guys.

Introduction:
In the first book we meet Clary Fray, a typical ordinary teenager who doesn't know she's a Shadowhunter. Clary is leading a normal teenage life until things start to change. When Clary is in a club with her best friend Simon Lewis, Clary notices a group of strange teenagers and follows them. Here she witnesses the group killing someone though the rest of the club don't seem to notice. It's not until she meets Jace Lightwood who tells her she is not a mundane (mortal-human) but a shadowhunter (demon hunter). This is where Clary's world begins to turn up-side down.

Main Characters:
Clarissa "Clary" Fray- Clary was raised by her mother along with other mundanes in order to keep her safe from the shadowhunter world.
Jace Lightwood- Jace is a highly skilled shadowhunter, who was sent to live with the Lightwoods after his 'father' was mudered.
Simon Lewis- Simon is Clary's geeky best friend who becomes a part of the shadowhunters in a way he never could have imagined.
Isabelle Lightwood- Isabelle is unbelievably girly but she has a fierce attitude, but she mightn't be as strong as she makes out.
Alec Lightwood- Alec is the eldest Lightwood and along with Jace is a highly skilled shadowhunter.

It was the film that made me want to read these books and when I found them in Easons I couldn't help but pick the all up at once and I am now on the last book! These books are full of action from start to finish and it is definitely a task to put them down at night. Not only have I fallen in love with the characters, I have kind of fallen in love with their world too. Yes I know they are in danger everyday but it's exciting and there is always something to keep you at the edge of your seat. Cassandra Clare's descriptive chapters drags you in from start to finish leaving your mouth open through the whole book with the twist and turns. I would recommend these books to all ages!

Thanks again for reading and don't be afraid to drop by my twitter and instagram and I will sure follow you back :)
Until Monday,
Toodles.
