Christmas Tag

I have seen this tag floating around the blogsphere the past few days and as I was stuck to do posts I thought I would do this one. I haven't been tagged to do this but as it is Christmas Eve I thought 'Why Not?' So shall we get started?

What is your favourite Christmas Film?
Honestly, the Santa Clause movies are beyond perfect. It's not Christmas until I see those movies or the Home Alone movies.

Have you ever had a white Christmas?
Yes a few times! I still remember my first white Christmas.

Where do you usually spend Christmas?
Nearly every year, bar one, we spend in Dublin with the whole family. We're in Dublin again this year and staying with my Nan and Granddad.

What is your favourite Christmas song?
I made a Top 10 playlist here but All I Want For Christmas is the only Christmas Song that gets me pumped!

Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?
YES! We do a hunt around the house to find them and it's so exciting.

Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's?
I know them all! Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen and of course Rudolph! I only know them from reading The Night Before Christmas religiously.

What holiday traditions are you looking forward to most this year?
Our Christmas hunt tonight and reading The Night Before Christmas.

Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
Fake :( I'd love a real one!

What is your all-time favourite holiday food/sweet treat?
The brussel sprouts or however you spell it! I love the tin of Roses and Celebrations as well though.

Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?
Receiving gifts is always nice but watching someones reaction when you give them a gift they really love is beyond the best feeling ever.

What is the best Christmas gift you've ever received?
Every gift I have received has always been on point. I've never gotten a gift I never liked.

What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?
No doubt, New York.

Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?
I fail miserably. I shouldn't be aloud near wrapping paper for any occasion.

Most memorable holiday moment?
My first white Christmas because I was six and I had never seen snow before apart from on TV. But every Christmas is always memorable.

Do you make New Years Resolutions? And do you stick to them?
Yes but I never stick to them :(

What makes the holiday special for you?
Being with my family and sitting around playing board games for sure.

That is it.

Makeup Tutorial: Taylor Swift Blank Space

First off, lets just take a moment of appreciation for Miss Swifts new song. I am in love. But more importantly lets appreciate the eye makeup in the video. As Makeup Tutorials are shaping up to be my most popular posts I thought I would do a tutorial on Swifts eye makeup.
Lets GO!

Step 1: Apply an eye primer and apply sellotape along the corner of your eye. The sellotape allows for the nice sharp line we want for this look.

Step 2: Apply a white eyeshadow as a base. Then with a small eyeshadow brush similar to the one pictured above, apply a navy colour along the line of the sellotape and work halfway into the crease and halfway into the lash line. ALWAYS BLEND! Apply as much as you like and as dark as you want but constantly blend.

Step 3: Using a small angled brush and black eyeshadow, begin to draw a thinner black like and fill your lash line also.

Step 5: Apply the black eyeshadow halfway along your waterline with the same angled brush. Fill the rest of your water line with a light blue colour and you are done with the eye. Don't forget to remove the sellotape.

Finished Look
Add some foundation, contour and fill in your brows. Dont forget to add Taylors signature red lip and you are finished. And yes I am in my dressing gown, it's Sunday!

Here is the video I got this look from:

Christmas Playlist

It is that time of the year. People are stocking up on the veg and turkey and preparing themselves for the jolly man himself to arrive down the chimney.
Without a doubt Christmas is my favourite time of the year because the music is on point.
