Makeup Tutorial: Ariana Grande

Oh look, Ariana Grande is back on my blog! My first Fab Fridays post was all about achieving Ari's girly style. So why don't we do the makeup to go with it.
Well here you go:

Arianas makeup is so effortless and beautiful. She always keeps it looking natural.
Start if by priming your face. Any primer will do, but I am using the Maybelline Baby Skin. Focus on your t-zone or anywhere your face has blemishes.
To complete Ari's full makeup look, your face needs to be blemish free, but a few spots are okay! Its part of the teenager contract to get acne.

Applying a foundation that matches your skin tone is essential. Although, Ari is naturally tanned you can use a self tanning lotion and a darker foundation. I am going to stick with my pale Irish skin. The foundation I used is the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation in True Ivory, which I love. Applied all over my fave using the Real Techniques Buffing Brush.

Ariana used to wear a lot of shimmery eye shadow when she played Cat Valentine on Nickeleodeon. Since she has got older she has stuck with eyeliner.Using my 17 Liquid Eyeliner, I applied a very thin line along my lash line, DO NOT flick it out.

Lastly apply at least 2-3 coats of Mascara to define your eyelashes.
I used the Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Retro Glam and the Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Rockin' Curves on my top lashes. On the bottom lashes I use the Lancome Hypnose Mascara.

Hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
See you all on Monday.

One Direction Concert

So as everyone around Ireland probably knows by now, the major sell out stadium tour for Where We Are happened this weekend and I had the privilege to go and see One Direction and their support act 5 Seconds of Summer.
The One Direction boys sure as hell don't disappoint and even though the whole weekend was miserable with all the rain, Niall, Louis, Liam, Zayn and Harry all took to the stage and gave 110%.

It was crazy, all those days, weeks and months of counting down to that day was finally here. After a year of waiting the excitement wasn't really there but having 5 Seconds of Summer and One Direction blaring in the car on the way to Dublin really made the excitement real again.
After stopping for a pizza in Drumcondra, it was time to head down to the concert (the road seemed like it was never ending). We got to the gate and it was time to say goodbye to mum and get to our seats.

Hellooooooo Croker, it was huge. We had over an hour and a half to spare so it was time to check out the Merch stands. The first stand had only One Direction Merchandise so we had to walk to the other side of Croker to check out the 5SOS stuff and I wasn't disappointed.

Support Act: 5SOS
Being a fan of 5SOS for over 2 years definitely made the concert extra special. Due to electrical problem 5SOS were a half an hour late but when they came out and played their first song Eighteen they sure as hell rocked the stage. I sat there screaming and singing along  to every song and everyone got involved with their cover of Katy Perry's song Teenage Dream. To finish off the boys killed it with their first single She Looks So Perfect.
They also made a couple of jokes about the Irish summer buy hey it was raining!

One Direction
It had finally arrived I got to see those 5 beautiful lads and breath the same air as Niall Horan. Between Louis running off stage to go to the bathroom, Liams t-shirt being so wet you could see through it and Harry doing his pretty impressive Dublin accent, this concert was definitely one that I will remember for the rest of my life. The boys opened with Midnight Memories and to end the concert with a bang (and I'm not talking about the fireworks) with Best Song Ever.

Fireworks, fun and jokes basically sums up the whole concert in 3 words.
Until Fridaaaaay

Celeb Clothes Crush #3

Woah! I haven't done one of these in a while they are one of my favourite posts.
Anyway, I have been touching on a lot of beauty posts and not enough fashion. So what better than to have another Celebs Clothes Crush for ya'll and who better to start with Kylie Jenner. If anyone knows how to rock a casual, but still dressy, style its Kylie.
In all of Kylies outfits she looks effortlessly perfect and  I am going to show you guys just how to achieve it.

Style 1: New Look

This outfit is perfect for day or night. Taken from inspiration of an outfit Kylie wore wearing a floral maxi skirt, this outfit could be worn for any occasion. This Pink Maxi Skirt paired with a White Crop Top can be worn with the Light Pink Sandals  pictured above or a nice Wedge shoe. Match the whole outfit with a Black Leather Tote Bag and you are ready to hit the town looking as perfect as Kylie.

Style 2: Forever 21
Another outfit which could be worn all year round and Black Leggings go with anything, provided they're not see through! Match them with a lovely Pink Stripped Cami and Kylies signature Combat Boots. Finally, to rock the finished look add a nice Black Leather Tote Bag.

I hope you guys enjoyed yet another Celeb Clothes Crush post. I try to do fashion posts as often as I can but it's so difficult.
See you again on Monday.

New Band: M.A.D

Hellooooo
You guys know I am all about up and coming bands and MAD is definitely one of them. Michael, AB and Dan all at just 16 are the perfect threesome, with the fresh new music.
During early 2013, auditions were held in London in search of members for a new British Boyband. Dan Lewis and Michael Sutthakorn were both discovered through their own viral Facebook videos while Aiden Hancock was discovered on social networking site Twitter. AB replaced Aiden, after Aiden left in November 2013.
Their debut single Toyboy was released in October 2013. They were one of the first artists in the music industry to achieve an official UK top 40 position without any radio play, but they accomplished a position of 37 using social media and viral campaigns alone.
Their second single Fame And TV was released in February 2014.
Their third single Shotgun is due to be released on the 25th of May and an album set to be released near the end of the year.
The band are currently travelling the UK with their second headline tour, an acoustic "Up Close and Personal" tour.

The Band
Dan Lewis: Dan is 16, he has the odd rant on Intsagram, he's a tiny bit obsessed with bandannas and he's from South Wales.
Dans Instagram: @DanLewisOfficial
Dans Twitter: @DanHuwLewis

Ben "AB" Pryer: Ben is from London, he's also 16 and selfie obsessed.
AB's Intsgram: @ABPryerOfficial
AB's Twitter: @ABPryer

Michael Sutthakorn: Northern Ireland born, amazing voice and he's too tanned to be Irish!

That is all for yet another post.
See you Friday!

Skin Care Routine

Hellooooooo
Before I begin, I want to let you know I don't actually do this everyday and I can be very lazy when it comes to cleansing my face, but when I do it, I seriously do it.

Step 1: First, I will remove any makeup that I may have had on that day. I use the 3 product above, beginning with the wipes, then the facial wash and I will then scrub my face using the Clean and Clear Facial Scrub.
Step 2: I then steam my face, to open those nasty pores, for about 2-3 minutes. Once I am finished I then close up the pores by dabbing cold water on my face.

Step 3: I apply the chocolate face mask, pictured above, all over my face and leave it until it hardens. I then rinse it off.
Step 4: Lastly I moisturize my face using the Simple moisturizer.

There is a little insight to my skin care routine.
What products do you guys use the most to cleanse your face? Let me know below.

Hair Care Routine.

Hellooooo!
Recently I changed up my hair care routine, and decided I needed to take a little but more care of my hair.
During summer 2013 I decided it would be smart (not!) to bleach the ends of my hair for that ombre look. Well it failed and by dying over it constantly to darken it, I was left with dry damaged hair. That's when I decided it was time to give my hair a break from the peroxide and take care of my locks.
Anyway, to get rid of the dead ends my hair had to have over and inch cut off! that's when I changed my shampoo, conditioner and heat protection spray.

Step 1: I have very oily hair so I wash my hair every 2-3 days. I hop into the shower and when my hair is wet I use the Herbal Essence Bee Strong shampoo. I apply this from the root down, and then rinse. For conditioner I only apply it at the ends of my hair and leave for a few minutes (this is when I showcase my singing voice) and then I rinse it out.

Step 2: As I am a girl who uses a lot of heat on my hair I have to use a heat protectant every time I was my hair. I use the Toni&Guy Heat Protection Mist (left) at the End of my hair before blow-drying and before straightening. Personally I do believe this works because since I started using it I have seen a major decrease in the amount of split ends in my hair.
Step 3:  When my hair is fully dry I will smooth any fly aways with the L'Oreal Mythic Oil (right) which is non greasy and leaves my hair smelling amazing and feeling unbelievably soft.

I would love to know what some of you guys do to keep those nasty split ends away, so feel free to leave me a comment.
Until Monday.

Lyrics Of Encouragement #2

When I heard this song while playing Guitar Hero, I didn't really pay attention to the lyrics. But while I was flicking through the music channels it was on, on Kerrang! I really enjoyed the lyrics and I just had to download the song.
Give it a listen for yourself.

"Hey, don't write yourself off yet, it's only in your head you feel left out or looked down"
This line is basically a call out to anyone who looks at themselves and hates what they see. Truth is your eyes can deceive you. What you see and what other people see is completely different. Don't look down on yourself or your appearance because we are all beautiful in our own way. And that is what this song is trying to get across.

"Yeah, just be yourself. it doesn't matter if its good enough for someone else."
This is, in my opinion, the best line for every single girl out there. If you enjoy doing something or wearing something do it! It shouldn't matter to other people what you do, it is your life, live it, do what you want and forget about what people think! Forget the haters!

"It just takes some time, little girl you're in the middle of the ride. Everything will be just fine."
This line is pretty self explanatory to be honest. If things are tough right now, it will get better. Life is rollercoaster, it has its ups and downs but that crazy ride has to come to an end at some point. Live it, enjoy it and make the most of it.

See you all on Fridaaaay!

Makeup Look book: Spring

Apologies if this post is a bit on the long side.
As Summer is slowly creeping up on us, I have been experimenting with plenty of new makeup looks. Throughout Winter I loved a nice dark eye, but I thought I should brighten it up a bit. Recently I have been wearing a lot of pinks and light browns on my lids, and also nudes on my lips.
I have a Spring Day and Night look to show you guys and I hope you like them and if you are interested in these 'Makeup Tutorial' posts please don't be afraid to leave me a comment as I am open to everyone suggestions. Anything to make my blog that bit more interesting to people!
Okay enough of my babbling, lets get onto these looks.

Day

Step 1: Prime face with Maybelline Baby Skin Primer. I tend to focus on my t-zone but you can apply it all over your face if you prefer.

Step 2: Apply Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation all over your face. I applied mine using my Real Techniques Buffing Brush.

Step 3: Using the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder apply all over your face to set the foundation. I used the Sarah Ashton Powder Brush.

Step 4: Apply a thin line of liquid eyeliner to the top lash line. Make sure it is very thing because if it is too thick it looks a bit like a dark, winter style makeup. I used the 17 High Drama Intense Liquid Eyeliner.

Step 5: In my opinion adding mascara is essential in any makeup look. It adds volume and thickness. I use one coat of Rimmel Scandal Eyes Retro Glam and one coat of Rimmel Scandal Eyes Rockin Curves on my top lashes and on my bottom lashes I used one coat of the LancĂ´me Hypnose Mascara.

Step 6: To finish I apply the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer under my eyes to cover up any dark circles. I blend it in with my Real Techniques Pointed Foundation Brush. I then set the concealer using the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder and Real Techniques Contour Brush.

Finished Look:

Night
Steps 1, 2 and 3 are repeated.

Step 4: When going out at night in spring it is A-Okay to darken your eyes and lips. So to achieve a nice dark smokey eye, use browns and blacks. Apply a light brown as the bad colour all over your lid and into the crease. Using a darker brown apply in the crease and in a "C" shape on the outer corner of the eye. Then using a clean detailer brush define the "C" shape made previously with a black eyeshadow.

Repeat steps 4 and 5 from above.

Step 6: Lipstick, for me, is a must in any going out makeup look. I prefer a nice red lipstick. Using a lip brush apply from the outside of your lips in. I'm using the Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish in 01.

Finished Look:

Please ignore my awkward selfies, I hate taking them!
That is it for yet another Friday post.
